I don't believe these settings are adjustable...I've read they are factory pre-set. My heater does start if the outside temps are low enough, though the seat warmers don't turn on.

Mine does that too, was set from the factory.
Will preheat even above freezing.

Yeah you would think though it would leave the heat on whatever you had it on before you got out of it I know that's how GM s work

If you have it on auto temp and you remote start it will adjust inside temprature to what you have 'My Temp' set to and the heat or cool option will turn on, but like markssylver said once you insert key it does shut it off and the heate or cooled seat isn't at full blast it's just seems like it's at a low setting, nonetheless you will feel it some especially if it's real cold. During the winter months I will keep the "my temp" at 76 so it warms up faster inside and I usually turn the temp down once the truck engine warms up more.

Does your steering wheel heat as well with my temp?

I just got my truck and am trying to figure this out. It's got the rapid aux heat in it also.

Where is the "my temp " in the settings? Or are you talking setting the temp manual to a degree number?

Thanks for the help!

When you go to the climate control screen, you would see a soft key that will show a steering wheel. If you don't see that icon then you don't have a heated steering wheel. Mine doesn't have it.

The 'My Temp' is also on that screen. First set the cabin temperature you are comfortable in. My is set to 71 degrees. Then find that 'my temp' icon and hold it for a few seconds. It will hold the temperature settings and everytime you remote start your truck it will either warm up or cool down to that temperature based on the outside temperature.

Copy all, thanks.

But do the heated seats come on, and the steering wheel heat( my truck does have that) but I don't know if the seats and the wheel will do that.

Thanks !

Patrick

I've had my heater and heated seats come on in 40 deg weather here in texas. Awesome features even more for the few blustery mornings we do get. As stated, all goes off once truck is turned on though.
