Lost control of volume

The volume control of the stereo in my 2012 F250 went out last night. When you turn the unit on and try to increase or decrease the volume it will go to full volume or zero volume. It just ramps up or down without any control. Steer wheel control or radio dial, it doesn't matter. Any ideas?

Start with the simple things...disconnect the batteries for a few minutes to clear the memory.

If that doesn't work, take it to the dealer.

If you are out of warranty, look on ebay for a used item. People are always tearing these things out of their trucks, replacing with good stuff, and selling the oem unit.
