Looking to run amp with door speakers

I have a 2012 King Ranch F250 it has the Sync touchscreen with nav and the sub. I'm wanting to put some aftermarket door speakers in and run them on a 4 channel amp. I don't want to lose any of my steering wheel controls or any factory functions. I have been lookin at the audio control LCq6i line converter to boost the factory signal and give me my outputs for my amp... Does anyone have experience with this and has anyone done the same set up?? I appreciate the help

On the jl cleansweep I understand it has it's own volume knob so you don't use your factory controls???
