Turn off RSS / Back up sensors

Has anyone figured out how to permnantly disable the, in cab, beeping from back up sensors. I know you can turn it off each time u place in reverse but that gets old. I have a hitch that stays on the truck and it automatically sets system off every time. I have a 2013 F350 with the OMC
Thanks in advance....

I think you can turn it off completely in the settings... I will check mine tonight, hopefully someone chimes in before then.

Would love to figure this out. I know if you unplug them you get a warning light.

I was right. Settings > driver assist > back up assist > off = no beep beep beep.

I tried that but it will not last, if you cycle key switch u have to perform it again. I actually went out and programmed 1 of my keys with the back up assist turned off. The only thing that did was successfully kept it in enabled where I couldn't turn it off @ all. I must be missing something, I mean I have the equivalent of a 10k lb smart phone but I can't get this dang beeper to quite beeping..... What am I missing here...

You should be able to turn them off, but you could just adjust them. I know you cold have them adjust away from your hitch.

So still no luck.... Question for the people that have trucks where the beeper will remain off, do you have the rear camera and if so is it in the Ford emblem. Called two dealers today, one stated it could not be done, the other told me to bring in it and they would hook up a laptop and see if they could disable on the side....

Thanks
