Audio System Bug?
Hey guys... got a new F250 a few weeks ago, and got a question about the audio system.
My truck's got the navigation unit in it... which is nearly the same as I had in my F150 Raptor. Everything seems to wrk nearly the same, but I've got one small problem with the my iPhone sync & bluetooth connection.
I know the Microsoft SYNC system and the Apple iPhone don't necessarily play well with each other (numerous threads on other forums about that)... but my issue isn't with the connectivity. The iPhone connects to the system every time I start the truck with no problems.
However... what the audio system is not doing is remembering my previous audio input selection like it did on my Raptor.
I'm not a big Sirius or even FM radio fan. What I usually do is listen to Pandora via the app on my iPhone... via the Bluetooth connection from my iPhone under the MEDIA menu button on the audio console.
But every time I get into the truck to start it up... while the audio console will always return to the MEDIA menu, the 'default' input is always the USB port, even though I've never used it. I have to reach over & stab the input selector on the glass to select Bluetooth and everything works as advertised. If I turn the truck off, and re-start... I have to go thru the same process.
I never had this issue on my Raptor. The system automatically remembered whatever I used last, and powered it up upon start-up.
Is this something that is "normal" on these trucks... or this an anomaly on my truck. If so, I'm assuming that this can be re-programmed via the onboard computer at the dealer?
Sorry for the ramble...
