Used AMP PowerSteps?

So I just came across some used AMP powersteps. I am getting the details at the moment but what I do know is they came off a 2008+ newer f250 and the guy wants $800.

Seeing as how I probably wont have warranty with these unless he has the registration card, is this worth it?

How hard is it to require back into a different truck? I am concerned about the wiring harness, etc.

Should I pass and just go new?

You can get the powerboards for around $1100. Find out from Amp if the year models cross over(pretty sure they do) and offer him $650. Powerboards are on my wish list. Truck will look so much better without the stockers.....

Do I need a new wiring harness or anything to install these?

The ones that my dad had on his 08 are now on his 11. Same steps all he had to do was buy new clips since his broke taking them off.

$800 is too much. I took mine off my gmc after 3 years and sold them for $600 to help pay for the new ones. you should not have any issues with them.
