Adding amp and sub to stock radio

What's the best way to hook an amp to the stock head unit, For the RCA jacks and the Amp wire?

Search for LC6i, I've never used it, but as far as i know it's the best thing to do what you want.

get an amp like MTX makes wtih line level inputs .. it also activates the Remote turn on
or do a line level converter and a switch for the amp turn on ..

I have mine set up with oem speakers but a sub amp tied to the rear speakers and it sounds so good I never went further

I got kenwood 5ch, real small package remote wire work off factory deck, used line levels to RCA's it works great

This is the one I got, installed under the passenger side rear seat, cut out a small area out of the cargo box for it.
