Sat. Nav. Wiring
Hi I live in the UK and have an imported 2010 F350 with built in sat. nav.
UK maps are not avaliable for this head unit so I need to fit a replacement unit probably pioneer. I wish to purchese a UK unit which is same wiring and size as USA pioneer unit, where can I order wiring harness to match truck and dash trim to make it fit. Alternativly where can I find the standard wireing details so I can splice my own wiring harness ? |

Check out:
Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, LCD TV, Digital Cameras They are pretty knowledgeable. I have bought from them before and can say nothing bad about them. Leo |

I have a friend of mine also in the uk and I believe his radio has the uk maps.Funny he has two powerstrokes over there.Didn't think anybody else was as crazy as him.Let me know if you need anything as I ship to him frequently and he is pretty knowledgable around these trucks too.

Thanks for the advise, we have tried loading european Ford maps and they don't work with my generation sat. nav.
Crutchfields appear to be a good supplier but don't ship to UK, so I have ordered PAC-Audio SWC and wiring harness and dash kit from Autotoys, these should allow me to fit a European supplied double din sat nav into the truck. Hopefully this will sort my problems !! |
