Question Factory Sirius reciever on aftermarket head unit ?

Hello Everyone
My question is has anyone used there factory Sirius receiver on there aftermarket head unit, and if so how did they connect it.
I have a kenwood HD9990 that I installed and was wondering if I could use the factory Sirius or would I have to by another one and install it.
Thanks

I'm told the sync adapter I'm buying with my alpine will allow use of the factory Sirius tuner. I'll let ya know next week when it all arrives.

I have a Sirius receiver that I used with my Kenwood that I'll let go for a fair price. I'll get a model number in a few minutes.

Thats the same interface I was given but the first three numbers are missing on mine.which I also purchased at crutchfield along with the steering will interface. the people at Crutchfield are very help full. I was very impressed with them. they are taking mine back and giving me a new satellite receiver and relay, along with a different PAC unit for a swap, the only thing I'm going to loose sync. Which I'm OK with.

So that adapter won't allow you to use the factory satellite tuner? That sucks. I don't care about sync. I just want my steering wheel controls. Guess I'll be running a new microphone and everything else after all. Damn it.

If you don't mind, will you please post the part numbers so I'll know what to order. Thank you.

Saw that on PSN. Guess we should conversate on a single site LOL. I'm gonna cancel the sync adapter and get the Siriusxm tuner. Now question, can you just use the steering wheel control adapter WITHOUT the sync adapter? Or are you losing that to? I would hate to lose those.
