A couple of NooB questions please..

First off, WHERE is the main engine control computer located?
The reason I am asking this is: I am putting a cb radio and possible going to run some power with it in the form of a linear amp.
I was wondering if this will cause me any problems..
I'm not sure how senative the computer is to outside electronic signals and I don't want to cause any performance problem with the truck.
Is anybody on here running a high (entry level...NOT light up bulbs with it) power on a cb or amature radion setup in a 2012 truck?
Any help or advice will be appreciated.

Good question, wish someone would have answered by now. I know back in the early 90's when CAT went to electronic, we had major problems.
That being said I'm bumping and watching this thread.

I am satisfied running barefoot radio at this time. Sad to say but most of the drivers nowadays are on the phone, silly or rude/crude. My... how times have changed. It is still nice to have when running with someone or in traffic. I have a couple of linears on the shelf, but haven't bothered to try to install them. (was hard enough deciding where to put the radio.)
