I know this is possible as I've seen it on a forum lately. It was something really simple to do but I don't recall what though.

You can put your fogs on an isolated switch such as a rocker or an upfitter or just get brighter lights...

You should be able to do it for $10-15. What you will need is a 20-30a 12v relay, a fuse holder, 20a fuse and a bit of wire. The relay should have a normally open side and a normally closed side. Connect the NO to 12v by way of the fuse and the NC side to the wire going to the fog lights from the truck. Connect the common to the wire going to the fog lights, you cut it and put the relay in the middle. There will be two more connections on the relay, connect one to ground and the other to the 12v+ from the brights.

I ordered the Fogster Kit. Just call them up and talk to them. The guy is very nice. I actually had mine from my 2008 and he told me I could reuse it as long as I switch two wires. He told me what to do and everything works great on my 2012. I think the price was about $90 and at is 5 years old and no problems.

Well I now have installed the kit and can say i am very impressed. Very easy to install and clean. I had some heartburn over spending $114 on something I could have cut and spliced into an uplifter switch but now that i have completed the install i have no regrets. Highly recommended if this is something that frustrates you about your truck.
