Installing audio control
I know a few people have already swapped door speakers and factory sub out adding amps and aftermarket sub, I have the factory navigation sync and factory sub. How do I hook up the jl clean sweep to the rear of factory nav, or where the hell does it even plug in?? Ive heard they come with a factory amp too in these trucks does that need to be disconnected or removed since I'll be replacing factory sub with jl 13tw5? I'm not very electronically inclined compared to motors and mechanic skills so any input will help! I would also like to keep all controls on radio and steering wheel functional I'm not sure what else options I have beside the clean sweep by jl. Please show pictures of installs of systems I'd like to see how your rigs look. Btw this is going on a 2012 king ranch f250 not sure if any difference between 2011

I don't have any pictures but the amp for the speakers should be around the steering wheel you want to tap after the factory amp for the doors and trace the wires that go to the sub amp and tap into them. Remember you need to get signal from all the channels to the cleansweap so it could work the way it is intended to ..
I'm running an audio control lc6i but I'm eturning it for an audio control lcq1. Hope this helps ... |

So does the factory amp power the door speakers and sub? And you will just leave that factory amp in place?
|

|
And also there's no tearing into behind the factory head unit right?

The factory amp in the dash powers the speakers only. If you have the factory subwoofer too, the amp is built into the subwoofer.

So there is just one amp in the sub box since I have the factory sub too correct?
