LED clearance grill lights (Raptor Look)

A little project I just finished up. There are machined mounts behind each light that server to locate and take the stress off the plastic grill runners. To me it has a great factory look. What do you think.

the actual color is a little off but what makes it look so factory I think is they look like they are almost the exact same height as the chrome ring inside the grille if that makes sense.

Looks good. As long as it's legal in your state...

Looks good from NorCal!! I'm curious whether you'll get any crap from the CHP or Local LEOs. With all the cars coming out now with all kinds of lights on them, I don't see why they'd mess with you.

Looks really good - Clean install!

In all US states you must run front and rear clearance lights if your vehicle is wider than 83". With my wheel offset and wide tires I'm wider than 83". There must be 3 SAE P3 lights spaced at 6"-12" apart. Thats why all the dually's have them. Amber in front and red in the rear.

The color is off a little until you hit the turn signals. If they could not line up so well I would have not done it.

Looks good. Side question what step bars are those? They look tough.

Pretty neat idea, I would like it more if they were close together in the center, like the center 3 lights on the cab and in the Raptor grille, then the mirror lights would look like your outer two.

They can be moved over one or two spaces. I tried a few layouts and this one looked the best to me. Good spacing and does not look like I just bolted up an ID bar.

I have had a few PM's asking for the parts I used. Here is what I used.

I got the clear with amber LEDs. The place I got them sold out and took them off there site. Heres what I have you could search the web or call the manufacture.

I went with the black base. And molded plugs. You need to shave the sides of the plug to fit between the runners.
