Stereo Build

About to order all of my stereo equipment and get things started on Monday. Going fairly high end on everything. I want a good sharp crisp sound.

(Added prices for those of you asking in PM)

Mosconi AS200.4 Amplifier (retail $1,699 got it for $1,400)
Focal FC 165 KRX2 Front (retail $1,200 got them for $1,100)
Focal FC 165 KR2 Rear (retail $900 got them for $800)

Mosconi A100.2 (not sure retail on this one.. got it for $650)
JL Audio Stealth Box along with a JL 13.5" TW5 subwoofer (retail $850 and that's what I got it for)

Keeping the factory head unit, and will need to run a Audioson Bit Ten Processor. (got it for $495)

Half to factor in all the wiring, base controls, dynamat, and labor. Total bill was a touch over $7,000 all inclusive.

Pretty excited! I drive this truck on a daily basis, and figured this will be something I will use on a regular basis. I also figure, that if I ever get rid of this truck for a newer model, I should be able to transfer all of it over, so it helps justify the cost of this stuff.

Will take pics when I start seeing stuff

Good luck with the install! It looks like the speakers and everything you chose will sound really good. Is your factory head unit the one with navigation? I have been wanting to put a sub and door speakers while keeping the factory nav unit and didn't know if the sound would be. I guess I will be following your thread

Yup factory head unit with Nav. The Audioson Bit Ten is what will allow things to sound proper while retaining the factory head unit. You will still need a separate amp or amps to power the speakers and sub though.

The JL Audio Steal box fits under the rear seat (you loose the storage bin) and looks very OEM. Same color as the interior and all.

I basically want this to be as OEM feeling/looking as possible while sounding amazing. Retaining all of the features of the OEM head unit and steering wheel controls is a must for me.

I went with the SP2LK box w/ the JL Audio 13TW5-3 and love it! Fits and sounds great.

I had a down firing JL box a couple trucks ago and that sounded ok. This was also before the 13TW5 was available.

I would definitively recommend DynoMat for the rear wall and doors. Really helps quite things up.

Everything's ordered. Install will happen Friday, Saturday, or at the latest, next Monday. Depends when parts come in. Thanks giving is slowing us down a bit.

Def have dynamat on the list
