New Stereo System Installed

I decided to install a basic system in my truck and went with the following:

Factory Navigation
Focal 165VB 6.5" Components
Focal 570CA1 5x7
2-10" JL Audio W1V24's
JL Audio XD700/5 Amp
6 Channel Integrator LC61

Also, the back side of the truck is dynomatted along with each door.

Well in my 2008 F250 I had the 13TW5 in a sealed box, the C class JL Audio components, JL Audio HD600/4, and JL Audio HD500/1. I think this truck has more bass with the two 10's. I believe it has a lot to do with the amount of airspace the guy was able to make in the ported box he built me. He was a great installer. He was working on Tim Duncan's Audi R8 V10 at the same time. So when he was telling me what to install I took his word for it, and I am very pleased. It sounds really crazy when you play that new music "dub step" in it.

Well it looks great. I had C5 componets front and rear in my 08, with a 13.5 stealthbox, and the HD900/5 and I thought it was perfect. I plan to do a very similar system this time but I think i might do the stealth box under back seat and a console box as well to get a little more bass

If you have the factory head unit run the LC61 it does great things and has better reviews than the Cleansweep. I loved my TW5, but this ported box hits some good bass. If you run the TW5 and a W7 8 in the center console it would sound really nice.

Couple of quick questions about that LC6i. Do you still use the volume on the factory head unit with that? I don't like the idea of having a seperate volume control like the CleanSweep. Also, how is it wired in? Would it be possible to just unplug the factory speakers in the doors, get the correct wiring adapter, and run those to it? Then run new speaker wire from the new amp?

I am interested in installing a very similar setup in my truck, but I am not interested in altering the truck much, if at all. Thanks!

I had the same concern with my truck. My truck is exactly how it was out of the factory, but with a way better system now. I am not sure how this was wired in since I had it installed by a stereo shop, but I doubt it was easy since the entire install took 10 hrs.

I guess my main question about the LC6i is does it get wired in before or after the factory amp?
