Hi,
I recently bought a Lariat F350 SuperDuty with the Nav touch screen display. I'm running Version Gen1 - V3.1 along with a 16 G USB stick and Iphone 4 (both connected to USB ports). I can get both to index fine and all is happy except one thing. Assuming that I have the album art embedded in the MP3 tags and they are the correct size images, do you guys know if it possible to get the art to display on the screen. All I can get right now is the spectral display, which is cool and all, but I like the album art, too. In my Google searches I find references to display art by either enabling or disabling GraceNote. However in the jukebox settings (the only place if found refernce to GraceNote) I can only get a version screen. Nothing about enabling/disabling it. Thanks! -zone |

The only way i have seen cover art is if i rip to the juke box feature. Then it shows the album cover art. Other than that i think thats it.

According to the dealer I have the best one available in my 2012 F-350 Larait. It has the navigation, 6-disc changer, and bluetooth along with the componet speakers and factory sub. I can’t explain how bad I miss my album art showing up on the screen. I have even considered the great expense of going aftermarket. (Pioneer AVH-P8400BH Head unit at $600, the adapter to retain steering wheel controls at $79, the adapter to maintain most of the sync functions at $300, Navigation add on at $300..... UGH!) Just no way I want to spend that amount of money just so I can have album art. I read somewhere that there was a flash that could be done to my stock unit since it has the hard drive in it. But I cannot for the life of me find where it was. Does anyone have any idea or advise that would help me out? I thought I would just buy a stock unit out of an F-150 or even a mustang, but the disc drive and controls are separate. Isn’t the stock unit in my truck manufactured by pioneer? I have seen some of the same unit for sale on eBay and they have a pioneer sticker on the top of them. I saw the 2013 Platinum Super Duty has the better set-up in it. There has to be a simple solution somehow. Any advice, PLEASE
