I phone and SYNC

I am having problems with the SYNC. i have tried 2 different Iphones, and i can not get my voice mail to come throught the system. All other aspects work fine. Phone works fine with other blue tooth devices.

Any Ideas? am i just missing something?

How are you trying to play the voice mail? I have to access the mail through my phone, the voicemail plays through the radio.

I have the 4G Iphone and it only works by pressing play on the phone just like the ipod controls.

I am just pushing my voice mail icon on my phone. it stops the radio, and apears that it will work, but nothing happens. change from SYNC to Iphone on the phone and it comes through the phone speaker fine. Try and change back, and nothing. It is really weird. I tried it with my old blackberry and that works fine, just my Iphone, and my wifes. Those are the only two I tried, but seems a bit odd to me.

Seems odd to me as well, I can turn mine on or off with the sync button on the phone screen. Which radio do you have? Sorry I was not able to be a help.

Not really sure what there is for options, but i have the Ford premum, with the nav.

Just a non-nav unit. I have the same set up as you.

I think I figured it out!!! If you try to play your ipod from your iphone via bluetooth, you need to hit the sync icon that is next to the fast forward button on the ipod play screen. After you do that you can have the audio play through the speakers. Let me know if that works.

No, not quite that simple. Every other aspect of the SYNC works with my phone. Regular phone, in and out, ipod, all is good. the only thing that won't work is my voicemail. or my wifes. it is really weird.

Did you see the icon I was talking about? You have to be playing the ipod without it being connected thru the usb cable. There is a bluetooth audio feature. If that is not it I am at a total loss.

I appreciate the help, but that is not it. My blue tooth wireless works excelent with everything but my voice mail on mine and my wifes Iphones. I even activated my old blackberry, adn tried it. It works fine as well.
