radio randomly shuts off

2014 Lariat purchased in Jan, currently at 10k miles. I'm starting to think I should have listened to my gut when I was deciding to buy the one with the fancy touch screen/nav/etc.

The radio will just randomly turn off while I'm driving. No issues getting it back on (yet), so it's nothing more than an annoyance. This morning it did it 5-6 times on a 20 minute drive, but sometimes I can drive for hours with no problems.

Just the radio portion turns off. The phone stays connected, NAV still active, and HVAC stuff is all good on the touch screen.

Just curious if anyone else has had the problem. If it's a common issue that Ford knows about and they can quickly fix it, I may take it in. But, with my luck it won't do it for them and it'll sit there for a week for diagnosis.

Try pulling the fuse for the radio or disconnecting the batteries and turning the headlights on for a few minutes. The first will reset a few things and the latter will reset a lot more, like the transmission shifting, etc. I was having similar troubles in October and this helped. No trouble since.
