I ran into that problem when I installed mine, didn't know about the lack of a 12v signal lead until I had everything hooked up and it didn't work. I went to the stereo shop and they told me that I needed a 12v tap from something that came on with the key. I just ran a wire from the fuse box (maybe it was the upfitter switch fuse or amp fuse, don't remember). Also you have to use the antenna adapter from a chrysler. I have an XLT without the handy radio controls on the steering wheel so I didn't need any other adapters.
