Broken transfer case

Hey, I knocked a hole in my transfer case. Was doing a 4x4 launch and something came apart and knocked a hole in my tcase. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem or if it was just a fluke.

4x4 launch? That's not a fluke, that's what happens.

if you can't afford to have your truck break, you shouldn't be racing or tractor pulling with it.

I never said I couldnt afford it or that I was upset about it. Just wanting to know if anyone else has had this happen. I had a powerstroke before this truck that made more power and I beat on it for 5 years and never had this happen. I have seen trucks with WAY more power than mine make 4x4 launches on the street or track and did not break the transfer case.

We had one of our rental trucks come back today for a no 4x4 concern.....half the case was missing and the chain from inside it was no where to be found. Someone is getting a good bill for that one...
