Hmmm...I wonder if this is why my truck wont start????(pics)

Washed my truck today for the first time since last fall. I went to move it so I could wash the tinladys car and it would start. The starter was just whinning away, but the truck wouldnt start. When I looked underneath here is what I found.

yeah i would have to say that is not good. was the bolt gone or did you find it? is the other one broke?

The bottom bolt is long gone, and I couldnt see the top one(dark here). Its pretty much free floatin under there so Im guessing the top one is gone or almost gone. Nothing that a pair of vice grips didnt fix

I did crank it a few times, only because I didnt realize it was just hanging under there. Then when I seen it, I put some vice grips on it and it fired right up.

I gotta say, I was f**kin cursing it. I am just 112km out of warranty. Glad it was nothing to serious.

Huh...I really couldnt imagine someone trying to steal it, but I guess you just never know
