New 6.4 owner tstat problems

Just got a 6.4, 2008 stock. Radiator is leaking at end on top at the fins, mishimoto may fix that before long and delete it at same time. Question is do i need to change the tstats or not? Are they problem causing or whats the deal. ??

Will the mishimoto be a good reliable replacement? I want to do it once and be over with

To be honest I don't know because there have been mishimoto failures as well. It seems though that it's the frame flex on the truck that is causing the issues.
