6.4 knock/tick

Is this the normal knock/tick some 6.4s have.
2008 f350 crew cab long bed dually zip

That is not normal does it sound like it's coming from the head?

It sounds just like the tsb ford put out regarding the noise. The video makes it sound much worse.
Clip was broken on passenger's side. Rocker foot was missing on driver side. Replaced but noise still there. No lack in power no cel.

If anyone has the normal "tick" a video would be great so I can compare the two. I have access to a short block and I have an extra set of heads to build another engine if need be.

6.4L Powerstroke with a new ticking noise. - YouTube

Try this one, noise went away when I started using Opti-lube oil fortifier.

Engine been to the dealership since then for a leaking bed pan and several oil changes and they say the noise is fine.

Running a very hot tune for months with snow performance water only with no issues.

You might have a lightly bent push rod or wear on the cam.
