6.4 ac problem please help.

Bought the truck recently and noticed it needed little freon but still blew cool. Drove truck yesterday and just blew air. Looked and ac compressor isn't engauging. Tested the clutch and it clicks so the compressor is good it's just not getting any power. Is there a fuse or anything? Any input would be great!

We put freon in it today and it didn't even take the whole bottle and still won't come on.

Im pretty sure PCM controls power to clutch. The PCM may not send power to the clutch if it sees a switch that is out of parameters. Might have a bad cut-out switch, etc..

Does it only do it while idling or when you are driving down the road.

if i idle it turns to blowing coolish air. then when i get out on the highway its real cold again.

ended up fixing it. went to my dealer and they printed fuse diagrams and wiring schematics and I replaced all fuses and swapped relay and did nothing. turned all climate controls to off, hot, low then max, cold, max and pushed ac button that was already on and it worked. I now have ac again. thanks guys
