Loud Ticking?!

Some of you guys may recall my post about buying a 6.4L 2008 F350 from my company here in Canada...well I got a killer deal. Truck had 64000km when I bought it...now it has 69000km. From the day I drove it home it had an odd tick when at running temp. I am aware of the explanation from Ford that this is normal...I am not convinced. I had it at the local dealer and was told they cannot find a problem. No codes...etc...but it sounds so awful. As stated by many...it sounds like a lifter but it is so incredibly audible that it stands out from the regular engine noise greatly. Every time I drive it I am waiting for something to violently come apart. It does follow the RPM range...It is very loud when in a confined space like an underpass or beside a solid wall. I am worried I have a much greater problem. I have read everything I can find...I am looking for some direction. Can anyone direct me to a trusted diesel mech in the Winnipeg MB, Thunder Bay ON or Duluth MN area? No power loss, good oil, good coolant and I run cetane.
