Reduced Engine Power

Howdy guys...

I just purchased my first's an '08 F250 with about 120k miles. Everything is stock on it. While driving the truck on Sunday it went into Reduced Engine Power (Limp Mode). It actually threw two codes - Exhaust Temperature Sensor Bank 1 and that the engine had too much oil. I changed the sensor yesterday and checked the oil level. Oil level was fine.

Last night I went drive the truck and it went back into reduced engine power. The truck blew a good bit of white smoke. The check engine light would not come on so I wasn't able to pull a code. I noticed that the exhaust tips seem to have a little bit of diesel on them.

Any suggestions??

Sounds like you have an issue when the truck goes into regen mode. Easiest way to fix and extend the life of your truck is tune and delete it.
