2008 4x4 low light and shifting problem

Hi guys. I've had this truck about 2 months now, and this has happened three times now. After getting wet (rain or car wash), the 4x4 low light begins flashing at a dead stop. When I go to take off, it acts like it doesn't know which gear it wants. At about 25mph, the light stops flashing, and it drives fine until the next stop. Then it happens all over again. About ten minutes of driving after a car wash, it would all just fix itself and be fine. It will not go into 4wd or tow/haul mode while this is happening. The switch is in 2wd when all of this starts(I am not trying to go into 4wd). Any ideas? Thanks!

I scanned it with my SCT, and found no codes. It also will not go into 4wd now, even though it has been dry for 2 days. The light just flashes. Any ideas on what could be getting wet that would cause this? Thanks!

Did I post this in the wrong area? I have tried the search function ,and haven't been able to find any similar problems. Thanks!
