08 leak

ok 08 f450 King Ranch. I posted about the exhaust leaking. well i took it to a dealer and they lifted my cab and put all three flexpipes on it. one was leaking but it wasnt the problem. the truck has a high pitch whistle under accel and under decel. after the load is moving no noise. it is just behind the fire wall on the passenger side. any help. ford dealer called the techline and they said out of 250,000 6.4 diesels they have never seen this problem. good for yall but not for me. LOL. Ford has been great at trying to help but hasnt fixed it. if they cant find it they cant fix it. not mad at them at all just want it fixed. thanks guys.

I knew a guy who had a Mazda B2000 (yeah I know, not a diesel, but Ford owns Mazda)...anyway, he had a problem with the intake manifold not completely machined out on one of the cylinders. It took a Japanese engineer flown in to find it, and the problem was the only one of its kind. So,the moral of the story, Its very possible you have the only one of its kind!

wow the dealership finally figured it out after 2 weeks and waiting for a 10,000 machine to diagnose the problem correctly.

it was a heater core hose being pinched and causeing a sound like an exhaust leak. can you believe it. my cab was lifted for nothing. but its ok. its fixed and i got new flexpipes. lol. anyway thanks guys.
