NEED HELP NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!

Alright guys heres my problem.

My trans temp gauge wasnt working, so i took the pillar down and found that the power wire was pulled off. So i went to put it back on and and stupid me i had the key on still and arched it at the ground by accident. Now my truck wont start or anyhting. I have power at everything it just wont turn over. I looked up the DTC's via sct and i have a B2900. Is this just a fuse or is it a bigger problem?

It's an 08 F-350

What fuse? I couldnt find any blown. I looked at the one that my gauges are tied into but it looked fine. What do you mean by putting it back into limp mode?

I don't know what that code is. I thought they all started with a "P"

I'm not sure about the '08s but if they have a fuse block under the hood you need to check that as well as the one under the dash...

How are you checking fuses?

Sometimes the can appear good but are really bad. I would get a test light and put the clamp end on a good ground, turn the key on and put the pointy end on each leg of each fuse. If you have one that the light comes on, on one side and not the other, it's a bad fuse. Make sure you don't skip any. Hope this helps.

check the fuse block under the hood also. those have your bigger fuses in there. its located on the drivers side towards the dash i believe.

Thanks for the help guys

I got it figured out. It was one of the 50 amp max fuses under the hood. And i am not sure why that one blew but its good as new now.
