Trouble with installed delete pipe onto old truck pipe

I put on a flo pro cat dpf delete pipe today and I can't get the new pipe to go into the old pipe (the part connected to the muffler ) to go in further than an inch. I tried hitting it with a runbber dead ow hammer, nothing. Im about to bring it to a muffler shop and let them have at it. Any ideas before I do that?

I had the same problem and did what you are planning. Took to a muffler shop and he expanded the end of the pipe. Didn't even charge anything, only took a few seconds.

He did say applying any lubricant to make it slide on better would make it very difficult to remove later on.

Good luck
