Automatic Hubs locked?

08 6.4l

Just bought this truck a few days ago and noticed when going around any turn, slow or fast, the steering wheel has some feedback like it wants to fight back the opposite way its being turned.

Which leads me to believe that the hubs are locked in even though they're in the AUTO position while in 2H.

Are the hubs shot? Just need maintenance?

Truck has 60K on the odometer.

take the bad hub off & drive it, if it feels better you'll know, plus the axle will turn freely, just replace the bad hub.....
