2008 Ford F-350 Dully Starting Problem

Hi
Here is my problem with the truck as the best I can describe.

I left out of town for 3 month, no one drove my truck in that time my wife she started once
when I put the key on the light on the dash come on dim and if I try to crank it nothing will happen. it feels like the battery is dead, even the light on the dash will go off

now if I wait for 20 sec with the key being on the on position the light on the dash will go fully on, then if I crank it, it will crank but it will not start

I will have to leave it cranking until automatic shuts off wait for 10 sec then crank it.
Then it will crank normal drive normal and act normal

Please advice

clean your terminals, apply vasoline (it WILL NOT corrode with vasoline on them), check your ground straps.. check your batteries under load... check, clean, vasoline the connection on the alternator(s)..

I bet your problem disappears with a good connection.. If the bats are strong enough to turn the engine in ten second go-at-em's, I bet it's fine..
