Swollen intercooler?

The intercooler on my 08 job 1 had swollen on the first two or three rows. The first row is starting to pull away from the fins. I run idp extreme street and can easily peg the boost gauge. Do I have a faulty intercooler? Will another stock one do the same thing?

This.... Is a new one..

I'd guess you can peg easily because it's leaking.. I bet its leaking because of an obstruction caused pressure to find another way out.. you no doubt have a faulty intercooler now, but what made it fault is the question..

As an aside.. what kind of freakin boots are you using? I may be needing those.. :-)

This is not a new intercooler. It has 14k on it. The turbos have 2k on it. The boots are stock. Truck has 80k on it. Any idea where to look for the obstuction. Or testing procedures?

Where is the booost sensor? It has to be before the obstruction. Im not sure there is a leak but the theory of a obstuction sounds plausable.
