Unhappy 6.4L Random Knocking in Dash?

I've tried looking around the other forums and couldn't seem to find a similar post. I have a 2009 F-250 6.4L and there is a random knocking that seems to come from the dash. I cannot figure out how to duplicate the issue, it just comes and goes. It makes the same knocking no matter if the ac/heater is on or off. Below I have listed 2 links to videos I uploaded to youtube of the issue. The first one was at night time, but the knocking is louder. Second video is of a later date when the knocking came back during the day. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

The knocking is caused by solar flares interaction with precious metals found only in super duty dashes.. your truck is trying to phone home.. keep an eye on it, and lash it down when you sleep.. it quickens the tempo the closer it gets to making a break for it.. don't trust it.

It's common, if not something that happens to all our trucks, its just some notice it, some don't, by my figuring.. I'm willing to bet it has something to do with the blend door.. or aliens recalling your truck.. either make sense, no?

No worries, dude.. its doing nothing indicative of failure looming, or damage.. :-)

Thank you both for the fast replies. This truck is a major upgrade from my 93 4.9 Inline 6. I'm used to noises almost always meaning a bad thing, other than the dash trying to rattle off.

Blend door as everyone else said.. Put you hand on the lower blend door and you will feel it doing what your video sounds like.

Was it the blend door itself, or the actuator?
