Powered Down Now message with wrench?

New to diesel world. I was pulling my 35ft 5ver back from the mountains of NC with coming up the last long grade and I got the "powered down now" with the wrench symbol. The truck did the whole limp mode thing when this happened. I got it to a truck stop and turned it off to search for the problem and when I started it back up it was cleared and ran fine till I got 5 miles from home when it did it again. I have also noticed that my lie meter on the fuel avererage has gone from 12.8 to 8.8 with truck empty. Any ideas?

No codes show up with hand held. Message clears when you cut the truck off. Will drive tonight with hand held hooked up to see if I can catch it when it comes in.

be careful just shutting your truck straight off after hauling something like that.. Best to let it idle for a min or two to let the exhaust gas cool down. Over time that can cause some issues with your turbos
