Bad Turbo? Advice needed!

Hey guys...those of you that know me, know I've been chasing this grinding noise since Late September/October 2012. My truck's been back to Ford 6 times for this issue and they kept misdiagnosing it. I've gotten a new transfer case, transmission rebuild, and I rebuilt the rearend myself.

Anyway, took a road trip to Atlanta last weekend, and the issue made itself known. The grinding got worse and worse. Got the intake off and found shaft play in the turbo, oil in both intercooler pipes, and a loss of some power. There's also a strange sound when I shut the truck off. Pics and a video are below. I suspect a bad turbo bearing/seals.

I haven't decided if I want to get the turbo replaced under warranty, install an upgraded single, or just trade the truck in. Thoughts? Opinions? Thanks yall!

I say get it replaced under warranty if you can.
That has no cost to you.
Then at least you have a new turbo to sell if needed.
I like a nice t4 single 6.4

So in the video, was I supposed to hear something weird? It sounds just like my truck. What noise is it? High pitched? I didn't hear anything that sounded like metal scraping. If there is a noise there I want to know. I have my noise canceling headphones in too.

Wait maybe I hear something. When you shut the truck off, you can hear something rubbing right?

Yessir...when you shut it off you hear something rubbing. Well I dropped er off at the dealership today...hopefully it'll be repaired by next week.

SRJD...I painted those vents almost a year ago. It's just rattle can that I got at oriellys...Krylon plastic paint. It's definitely holding up great...just make sure you clean the vents well with soap n water before you paint them.

Were you just pissed, or did you really want to get rid of your truck over a bad turbo? It's just a turbo... and you're lucky that you caught it before you actually got stranded somewhere.

Well I wanted the super cab until I sat in the back of it. TOOOO small. It's knees in the seat kind of small for me. I got the crew cab and it's so nice back there. I'd go for it if you have the money. You'll enjoy it much more.
