excessive DPF regen?
Please help? I am having an issue where the truck (2009 F-550), regens every 30-50 miles I have checked the short term fuel trims of all the injector and have found that they are all either +/- 5. All the injectors have been changed about a year ago at the dealer. The DPF has been removed and baked and inspected for cracks. No cracks. I have seen that the back pressure on the EBP-A is always around 13-15psi at idle the desired back pressure reads around 4-5psi at idle and the DPF pressure sensor reads 0.2psi at idle. I am stuck.
Does anybody have an idea of why the truck goes into regen so often? I was thinking over fueling but the fuel trims don't show that. There are no codes and no smoke. coolant and oil levels are all good.
