I AM THINKING OF BUYING A 08 550 W/6.4 NOT SURE IF I SHOULD, ALOT OF RUMORS ABOUT IT, ANY SUGGESTIONS, OR COMMENTS

Great truck so far. No big problems. Only small stuff. Going to be a great engine. All they need to work on is mpg.

PERHAPS I WILL STICK WITH THE DODGE INSTEAD CUMMINGS SEEMS TO BE ALOT LESS PROBLEMATIC I HAVE TWO NOW AND HAVE HAD SEVERAL OTHERS

come over to the light side my friend! haha have only heard of MPG troubles with these 08s. A lot of the pre production bugs are worked out now and the tuners are starting to be able to work on power and mileage even, so the world is starting to open up. These trucks are gonna be great in a few more months, awesome now... better than!

I hope so

I ordered my first Ford truck last week. I ordered a F350 with the 6.4L
diesel, I should have it in about 8-9 weeks.

My truck has been a dream.... A lift, tires, and wheels are going on it monday...

Don't believe all the rumors.... there are more good stories then bad...

With a tuner and some mods the truck does get better gas mileage...

have a 450 at work that has 34000mi on it and has yet to see 10mpg and has been in the shop 3 times..2 injectors,ecm,and the unit that controls windows and locks im not impressed but thats my opinion
