What's the warranty on the EGR & THERMOSTATS?

I have a code P0404-EGR & P00B7-THERMOSTATS FORD service department told me the 5/100,000 mile warranty doesn't cover it

The EGR valve is covered under diesel powertrain 5/100k. I you have an an 08 model year it's possible you're out by time though. The service dept needs to be looking at your warranty start date and running the base part number (9D475) for part coverage.

Thermostats are not covered under diesel powertrain. Bumper to bumper only along with most of the other cooling system components

I just called the dealer about thermostats in my '09 with 83k on it and the service dept said the Thermostats ARE covered under warranty. maybe my scenario is different for some reason? i was clear to ask them to double check it on the phone and then also had them double check in person wiht my VIN# and they confirmed it was covered. I have no aftermarket or extended warranty either.

You should have almost all of this year for warranty! I would think depending on when you bought it
