Truck is dead.

I have a 2008 f350 which is deleted and has a mini maxx and a alarm and remote starter. so i leave work started the truck with the remote start to warm it up i come outside and the truck is dead and smells like something was burning i know it started cause i have a 2way key fob. There is no power to anything not even the seats. i've had the remote starter for over a year. what do u guys think happened.

I saw an alternator cause this exact symptom and smell on a 6.4 truck once. Shorted out and killed the whole truck, and smelled like it was burnt up. Stick your head in the RH front wheelwell (PUT THE PARKING BRAKE ON FIRST JUST IN CASE) and smell near the opening in the inner fender, see if it smells really burnt right there.
