What the best way to get to the guts of my telescoping motor? It wants to move but I think it needs some lube

Buy a new one. There was a guy on here that put directions to to do it and my buddy and I attempted it. We are fairly reasonably mechanically savvy dudes and it was a nightmare. 6 hours later and didn't fix problem. There's. a reason they are $1200
