blowing lower intercooler boot

im on a 13 hour trip to mexico pulling a light load behind me,

I keep blowing my lower intercooler boot

Ive stopped and bout another one from the dealer and its still doing it.

What can i do to stop this from happening?

truck has 160K, intake and muffler, no tune.

Before you put it back on clean the oil off the boot and the intercooler and apply some hairspray to it. Let the hairspray get a little tacky and tighten the clamp real well.

I had the same problem! Mine would blow at about 31 PSI. I did the same and stopped and bought a new one, only to have it blow again and again.
I even double clamped it at one point. NADP pointed me to Diesel Site, and they have a full boot kit, in it is a MUCH better, thicker, stronger boot. I haven't had an issue since and have hit 40+ psi pulling my 40' toy hauler at times with no issues at all!
