Power Steering/Hydroboost Brake Issues

OK, I am not sure if I am nuts or just dumb, but I seem to recall a thread at some point on my issue but I sure cant seem to find it using the search function. I have a 2008 F350 CCLB with 158,000 almost completely trouble free miles. About a week ago I noticed spots on the driveway that had never been there before. This weekend I noticed that when I lightly tapped the brakes I would get an almost "bounce back" feeling with the pedal. At the same time I noticed that the power steering pump was groaning. Long story short, I determined that the fitting on the line going to the hydroboost was loose and was leaking fluid. I cleaned everything up, tightened the fitting and topped off the power steering resevoir. I figured that everything would return to normal, but now I notice that I still get that slight bounce feeling when I lightly apply the brakes and whenever the brakes are applied the steering wheel ever so slightly wants to turn to the right. The turning on brake application is what I vaguely recall being in a thread at some point. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? The leak is gone and the noise is gone, I just have these two issues.

Thanks in advance,
Jim

Everything was flushed in January when I bought the truck. No issues at all until I had the leak issue.

I had a booster that decided to start leaking right after the 3/36k. Ford was nice enough to let me pay for it myself. Ever since the dealer replaced the booster, I've had the same condition described by the OP.

Not a big deal, but not right either. Will be taking it back to the dealer for other work and will have them address it then. I'll let you know what they tell me.

Tim
