damn you oil!

Today my oil light came on after start up and truck was at temp. Then went off under load. It didn't come back till after I left in it 2 hrs. later and it was at temp again. The light only comes on at a stop. 1200 miles on oil change and a Motor Craft filter. Oil checks out good. Been reading and they say the pump are known to go out as is the oil pressure sensor. What gives? No CEL or warnings. Seems to run fine even at a stop.

Oil bypassing the sensor working it's way up into the connector. I disconnected it an sprayed break cleaner into the sensor and plug to harness. Once that was done it came back 2 times and never saw it again. I'll break down for a new sensor in time.

To make a long story short I did have the same issue just went ahead and replaced the sensor though it was only 30 bucks, but thanks for the info I'm sure the dealer would have charged me a pretty penny
