WTF high idle/dead battery?

so the other day I noticed my truck seemed to be idling higher than normal (around 770-800 rpm's) sometimes itll go back to normal. this morning I noticed it seemed to start just a little slower than normal. drove it all day no problems. tonight I changed the tune to the spartan 210 tow tune, drove around to the boat and hooked up to it for the early am. shut truck off 2mins later went to start it up it up to move it just a little and DEAD BATTERY. WTF!!!!!!!!!!, turned it over again and barely got it to start. un hooked it from the boat and now have it on charge. what gives? OBC said charging system ok

if you have the original batteries in your truck.. its prob time for some new ones. mine just died a month ago.. build date on my truck is 04/07.. so they lasted just over 5 years. not bad for stock batteries. when they were dying, i didn't notice faster idle speeds, but i did notice slower crank speeds and sulfer smell in the cab when running the AC. you can get them tested by your local parts store. i would suggest new batts.
