Trailer brake module/ code PO381/ an PATS
So I leave the gym, go to start my truck and nothing. Figured it was the battery, thinking I left something on. Got the BS codes and dash displaying what's in my title. Another guy with a 6.7 came and helped out. Called his buddy who has the same year truck as me 08 and told us to locate a wire coming off of the passenger side battery that should have a fuse attached, and then told us to unplug it for a bit. Couldn't find it, so we unhooked the batteries as he said this would work too. Just the negative terminals and whalla it starts. It was telling me prior to this that I had the trailer brake module, check brake system, and anti theft was going off. My radio does not have power while the truck is running, and it cuts on and off while the key is turned off. I have cleared the DTC, but it reappears immediately and it still says check brake system. Also my key fob won't unlock or lock the doors. The buttons on the door work, but my headlights ont power once you input the code like it used to. Will have to check fuses in the AM.
