No heat or intermittent heat

My 08 with climate control, seems to be only putting out heat intermittently. Over this past winter, it would only blow cool air occasonally when the temp was set on 85. Now even if it is set on 90, it only blows cold air. Any thought? Thanks

My guess would be the thermostats.

That was my initial thought as well, but it seem odd that the heat would come and go. Normally when a thermostat goes, it does not get very hot, just warm. This is all on, or all cold.

I had the same issue. Ford changed out my thermostat and it still done it. Wound up having a plugged hose.

Im not sure which one it was. I just know one was plugged and the other wasnt. one was getting hot and the other wasnt. But it seems to me even after they unplugged it and put in a new thermostat my heater still puts out more heat at 75 degrees vs 80 or higher. Dont know why.

I would check the heater hoses first.
