De gas bottle

What is the proper level, my level cold or hot is at the bottom. I have not seen any white smoke or noticed the level going down. Should i top off the de gas bottle and keep an eye on it. I just deleted the dpf and added a mini max yesterday. What coolant do I need to buy at the parts house. I am thinking of doing a flush on the cooling system this weekend. I have read about people switching to a red cat coolant. I hate to buy the ford coolant at the dealer because I'm sure they will rape you on it..

car quest here stocks the ford gold stuff, cheaper than dealer, as for the low coolant, i have a hairline crack on the bottom of my bottle so it is always right at the bottom, when cold i can always see just a little bit of coolant in there, if i fill it up to the fill line it will leak down to the bottom in about 2 weeks.

you should fix that, the last thing you want is to introduce air into the cooling system. it'll eventually cause the front cover to cavitate and horizontal egr cooler to rupture

there is a new design coolant bottle out and depending on what your old bottle is you may have to do some line rerouting.

I guess you'll never have a repair done at the dealer because they'll rape you on labor too?
