HELP! Power Steering Surge Problem!

Hello Everybody,

I recently started having a problem with my (08 F250 CC SB 6.4ltr 4x4 SRW) steering and was hoping some one here could give me some good advice.

The problem is that while holding the steering in a turn the steering wheel tugs in my hand as if the steering assist is surging stronger and weaker. It also seems that a new intermitant buzzing noise is coming from under the hood close to the upper firewall driver side.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

check for leaks. I think mine is doing the same. Still in the process of diagnosis and repair.
