Loud anoying rattle only at idle

My 08 6.4 has a loud anoying rattle/groan at idle only give a little throttle and truck sounds perfect

Day # 2 no more weird sound.... at idle thusfar.
could it have been the Turbo/s?
Forgot to include My truck is a Job1
Also, Its deff not a vibration from some physical part. it sounds to me like the turbo wasnt
varying with the motor. But thats my uneducated guess.

I had that as well shortly after I got the truck. The dealership fixed it under warranty but came back again later. Hadn't had it fixed again so I just deal with it. For me the sound was coming from the passenger side behind the glove box. If I remember right, I believe they said it was a heat pipe behind the firewall that was rattling at idle. I'm not sure what they did... maybe tightened something up or added more insulation. Regardless, the sound came back and generally happens after the truck has been running for while.

Mine is an '08 6.4L and I believe I'm also a job1.
